AUSTRIAN WINTER
The idyl begins in Vienna with St. Stephan’s Church, shopping along the Kartnerstrasse, coffee shops of the Inner Ring, Hofburg Palace, a carriage ride in the snow, a Heuriger in Grinzing, and church on Sunday with the Vienna Boys’ Choir.
Then the train takes us to Salzburg, where we stay in the heart of Mozart’s Old Town, and from here we may visit Hellbrun, the Mirabell Palace, and the Hohensalzburg fortress. For the hearty, there is skiing at nearby Flackgau.
