ANDREA’S BOLOGNA and LUCRETIA’S VENICE
For
this trip particularly for women, we are fortunate
to have a superior
resource: Andrea Vogt, a native of Idaho who has married an Italian and
now lives in Bologna. She has written two books for visitors to
Bologna, knows the shops and merchants, is fluent in the language, and
for years has shown international visitors the beauty of her adopted
city.
And Lucretia has established quite a following in the ladies' shops in the Lynchburg, Hendersonville, and Columbia with her effervescence , enthusiasm, and style.
In Bologna, we will visit both the international shopping meccas and less expensive outlets, attend optional cooking classes, dine well, attend opera or a variety of concerts and experience the best of Bologna.
And
two hours away via the first-class Eurostar
train is Venice, where Premier Idyler Lucretia will help us appreciate
this extraordinary city filled with art, music, restaurants and photo
opportunities.
After spending six weeks in Rome and Venice in January and Febraury 2010, Lucreita is eager to lead friends to her favorite Venetian boutiques and restaurants.
