For Broadway, Shopping, and More
For years Lucretia and I have taken fun-loving students and adults to New York City for non-stop adventure.
Broadway plays
and
Metropolitan Opera, trendy shopping from Fifth Avenue to
SoHo, brunch at the Waldorf on Park Avenue or hot dogs at
Nathan’s at Coney Island, church at St. Bart’s or the
Abyssinian Baptist Church, ice skating
at the Wolman or Rockefeller Plaza rinks,
international movies that seldom come South, ethnic neighborhoods and
cuisine of Chinatown and Little Italy, vistas from the Empire State
Building and the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset, subways, taxis, the Staten
Island Ferry, and the
overall excitement of being in one of the world’s greatest cities have
been parts of our New York experience.
Prior to departure we will inventory
interests and availability of tickets to the Met or a Broadway
production and then plan
accordingly for a fun-filled, four-day weekend at our Upper Westside
hotel
with its courteous staff and central location.
