Mark Rosenstein of Asheville’s The Market Place Restaurant returns to prepare dinners, select nearby restaurants, and offer commentary on the food and wines of the region.
Our home for the week is the Terre di Baccio, a 16th century farmhouse that has been remodeled into a luxurious estate in the heart of Chianti. Owners Giampaola and Judith are two of the kindest and most personable hosts a traveler could ever encounter.

The focus of our stay is dining at both the Terre
di Baccio and the hill town
restaurants, and visits to nearby wine estates. A morning truffle hunt,
Greve market day and a full day in Florence are scheduled
The trip concludes with a festive patio party with live music and lots of laughter.
